Equipment

pg7pic1 The picture to the left is of the trommel "Common Operation" which the gold is split amongst the guests. This is added to your poke with the gold you find with your own "highbanker" machine.
The picture to the right is the large sluice box used on the trommel. All the guests particicate in the clean-up and panning from the "Common Operations."

This is "highbanking".  The material is delivered to you to process by shovel at a large man-made closed loop settling pond. You of course keep all the gold from your machine!

A small suction dredge is available to use.

A 4 person "Common Operation" is run by rotating crews every 3 hours.  These trommel operations are an excellent production of team work that produces the gold for each crew member.

The following trommel was recently built for us and was placed into service in 2009.  It is light enough to airlift and can be towed with a car.  It is powered by one 8 hp Honda engine and a hydraulic pump operates all the drive motors.

There is also lots of opportunity to crevice and pan for gold.
