During your trip we provide you with a choice of equipment to use. Also, a "Common" Operation is run which the gold is split equally. You will be running your own equipment by digging from a fresh pile of dirt dug with our backhoe. You may demonstrate use of a small suction dredge on the creek. Either way, the gold is yours.

Or, your decision may be to work some and then tour the property to see the old hard rock mine, tailings, water ditches, etc... That decision and work pace is entirely yours.

We have been spending most of our time in a few selected areas that have produced quite well. The golden rule has been to work the bedrock using the backhoe, however we have always found fines in the overburden.
It is also worth mentioning that the gold is coarse and very beautiful. It has not traveled far and often has rock and quartz embedded in it. Guests have found many nuggets that can be made into quality jewelry.
