HIGH GRADE VEINS @ EMLLY CAMP High-grade gold, platinum and copper veins were found at Emlly Camp. See photos HERE. You must see the veins yourself when you visit. You may take a sample home with you and/or mill the ore onsite with our small mill to pan out the gold. ***************************************************** TREE PLANTING Dozens of trees have now been planted in the areas we have cleared all dead timber and they are growing well. We have been falling dead trees and stacking them to burn. Large piles of dead logs are everywhere along our ATV trail but will soon be gone once burned. Stumps are removed and brushing projects done with power and hydraulic equipment. Spraying the brush with a herbicide has also been an activity. All these forest practices are permitted activities under Oregon Department of Forestry and don't require County approval.
**************************************************** TRAILS AND ZIP-LINES Besides the new ATV's trails to run around on, we will be installing Zip-lines for not just fun but also for easy transportation across the canyon for tools, equipment, forest practice work. Recreation does not require a permit YET in Curry County. The structures are fire proof, earthquake proof, last much longer than conventional stick-built structures obviously, and best of all they are lightweight to transport to the site. Buyers must be pre-qualified by completing a questionnaire to the satisfaction of the Seller and have a back ground check. The buyer is asked a series of questions regarding their occupation, affiliations and intent for the purchase. We reserve the right to refuse a sale. For the purposes of confidentiality, owners names will not be made public until the Deed is recorded. A pass code entry website is available only for the ownership to use to meet the need of communication, data entry, resources, and logistical planning. For these and property tax purposes, there is a yearly due. Failure to pay dues may lead to lockout of the website and other actions. There is a need to air-lift at least 2 storage containers for the additional owners so new buyers have a secured location for personal items. The inside of these containers is sectioned by chain link for individual secured storage areas. Because this is a patented gold property, there is a restriction of the type and size of equipment that one may use. The gold is finders-keepers! The location of this Wilderness In-holding makes it truly a one-of-a-kind. Emlly Camp is located in the most remote area of Southwest Oregon and is an isolated private parcel in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. This parcel is now care-taken by its owners, friends and visitors and is used as frequently as if there was a paved road through the Wilderness to get there, yet keeps the most pristine Wilderness area of the Pacific NW untouched. The private parcel straddles the Little Chetco River for nearly 3/4 of a mile which its shape is indicative of the patent that resulted from the immense gold that resides in the landscape. Emlly Camp is the ONLY private property within the boundaries of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness and therefore, it has a huge potential for other spin-off activities besides mining for gold.
It has been operated for the past recent years as a highly successful gold mining camp because the property is a patented gold claim. It has considerable gold reserves. Access is via a primitive wilderness trail (although a long 2-day hike and not recommended) or by helicopter using two established heliports located on the property.
